These are the minimum standards that a zone must meet to be
accepted in the mud.
-
Everything has to be medieval in nature, absolutely no futuristic stuff
-
In general, you can travel back in time, but no travelling forward. If
you do want to travel forward in time, the future must be medieval as
well, so you can't go very far in the future. Definitely no space-age
type of worlds.
-
All zones are subject to proofreading and grammatical corrections.
-
You may give the zones you create to others and pretty much do with the
zones as you want, but you can't request us to take your work off the
mud once you have placed it in the main mud. For instance, if in the
future you get upset at an admin of the mud, you won't be able to
retaliate by saying "I don't want my work here anymore; take it off!"
-
Every object and mobile needs to have a description for examining.
-
All room descriptions and examines on mudobjects should have the first
line indented three spaces. Pretty much anything that is a paragraph
should have the first line indented three spaces. Briefs should not
be indented.
-
You may use colors for emphasis, but don't overdo it. If you have over
50 percent of the description as color, then maybe you are overdoing
it a bit.
